My First Month Of School Essay - 1622 Words

September 2008 was one of the most difficult but also exciting months about education that I have ever experience in my life. I started my seventh grade eight-years ago after my family move to the United States in the late 2008. It was really difficult to leave my friends and my relatives behind to go pursues the American Dream. The first month of school here is the most memorable month ever. I came to the America with a desire to succeed in the field of education. I faced many difficulties in the first month been here. Everything was different from my country. Language is one of the biggest problems that separated me from the rest of the students. Racism is something that I thought would never happen or exist in America, but it happened to me throughout my entire middle-school here. I also face many bullies. Even though I had a hard time with education, the school here is a lot more structured and advanced than the school I attended in Vietnam. Those are the reasons that slowed me d own from getting my education here. The education that I had during that time has made a dramatic impact not only on who I am but also to my goals and dreams in the future. I started off pretty well in the first weeks of living away from my home, but thing later changed when I entered my new middle-school, Carr.
